We did a lot of research before choosing Daniel to design our dream home. He is very practical and completely understands which changes will trigger engineering / build cost blowouts and which won't. A criticism I hear frequently of architects is that they are not practical in this regard yet instead you get the flair and creativity - but Daniel was exceptionally creative and this was certainly a strength of his. Daniel also turned around plans rapidly and this helped greatly because he was never the cause of a delay in the design / approval process. This, along with Daniel's exceptional knowledge of what will and won't be approved according to regulations, all helped get our Development Application approved at the earliest possible time with the maximum possible leeway we could get.
